RammyMen was set in up 2016 after the suicide of two local fellas, neither of whom had shown any previous signs of struggling.

We decided that the best way to help people is to create activities, build communities and friendships so that when adversity strikes, everyone has someone to turn to for help. We now run a load of activities and provide a whole range of support at our premises in Ramsbottom, and through our website at rammymen.org

Everything from TaiChi and meditation through to vocational woodwork, programming, tech design, alcohol-free social nights, gardening, weaving and music courses are run by our great team of dedicated volunteers, and everyone is welcome to come along and join in!

We'd like to thank Bury Learning Disability Team, their friends and families for their support in running the Bury 10k on 15th September to help us continue our work. We are truly honoured to be chosen as your 'good cause' and will make sure we use the money raised to provide the best support possible for our community.
