I've raised £600 to Fund Ramsbottom's Great Get Together

RAMSBOTTOM'S GREAT GET TOGETHER 2018
On Saturday 23 June 2018 for the second year running we are organising a community event, The Great Get Together, in Nuttall Park Ramsbottom.
The event is part of a series of commemorative community events that are taking place across the country over the weekend of 22-24th June to show that there is more that unites us than divides us.
The Great Get Together is inspired by Jo Cox, the MP for Batley and Spen who was killed on 16 June 2016. We believe there is a groundswell of people who reject division and simply want to bring our communities together and celebrate all that unites us. This is our chance and that is what The Great Get Together event in Ramsbottom is all about.
Like last year, our Ramsbottom Great Get Together will be a picnic in the park and we are hoping to have a band, entertainment, food and a bake off and lots, lots more. The key message for the event is that we all have more in common with each other and we are looking forward to making the day a diverse celebration.
We got some brilliant publicity in the Bury Times for last year’s event (see link below) so you can see what we’re all about.

The event in Ramsbottom on 23 June 2018 will be inclusive and aimed at getting the whole community together - but we really need your support to help make it happen.
To make the day the best success it can be, we need to raise some money to pay for some of the events essentials like insurance, bunting, publicity materials and other stuff. That’s where you come in.
Please, please give what you can to help us organise what should be a fantastic community event.
And also, don't forget to put the date in your diary so we can all get together on Saturday 23 June 2018 for a lovely picnic in the park.
