Assalamu Alaikum Everyone!

As you're aware, Ramadan 2023 is just around the corner Insha'Allah!

The Surrey Islamic Society for many years has had the privilage to provide Iftar to our very own students and our beloved community of Guildford every year. Alhamdulillah, as we finally progressed back to our normal lives from the effect of the pandemic, we will be hosting communal Iftars as normal this year Insha'Allah.

Allah (SWT) said: " Those who spend their wealth [in Allah ‘s way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly – they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.” (Quran 2:274).

Indeed, one’s wealth does not decrease by giving in charity, but rather, it is increased and purified, also growing the individual’s Barakah (blessings and spiritual strength).

This is an ideal opportunity for you to get involved with the Surrey ISOC in an effort to feed the Muslims of Surrey during this blessed month of Ramadan. If you are unable to donate, we would really appreciate if you could share our page to your friends and family Insha'Allah!

100% of the donations received will be used to provide Iftar on campus. Any money remaining at the end of the month will go to towards our Iftar funds for next year Insha'Allah.

May Allah (SWT) accept from us all and grant us the highest ranks of Jannah for all our efforts and hardwork. Ameen!
