Weʼve raised £57,545 to Support Raith Rovers Football Club through the football shutdown

Funded on Wednesday, 15th July 2020

    Story

With the unprecedented shutdown in footballing activities due to the coronavirus situation, this has deprived the club of almost all sources of income for the foreseeable future.

While we are just one of many businesses and organisations to face difficulties during this period, many Raith fans have expressed a desire to offer financial support to help fund their club during this difficult period.

We appreciate any support that can be offered from those in a position to help, and any contributions would be gratefully received.

We hope all Rovers fans remain safe and well, follow the official advice, and look out for the more vulnerable members of the community.

This is the final day for this JustGiving page. We have raised a fantastic amount in a very short space of time. In addition to this and other fundraising streams we have raised over £100,000 for Raith Rovers. To everyone who contributed can I say a massive thank you. You helped keep your club alive. Now we are facing another crisis which is not of our making. This has put a tremendous financial strain on our club when we are trying to chart a way forward through these most challenging of times. Again I thank you all for your support. Andy

Thanks to the continuing generosity of our supporters we have raised a substantial amount for Raith Rovers FC to help us survive this global pandemic. Donations from near and far are made regularly via our various fundraising options. This fundraising page continues to attract donations which is why I have reset our target to £70,000. This is part of our wider campaign to raise £100,000 for Raith Rovers. With your help and support we are confident that this target can be achieved. Thank you. COYR
