    Story

Rafe Houston, Thomas Godfrey Faussett, Harri Rowley, Jock Stodart and Robert Leader will be attempting the '3 peaks cycle challenge' between the 20th-25th June 2021, raising money for two charities close to our hearts.

The challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales - cycling 450 miles between them over 6 days.

We begin our challenge climbing Mt Snowdon, Wales on (20/06). We climb Scafell Pike, England on (22/06) then finish the challenge climbing Ben Nevis, Scotland on (25/06). It will be a tough challenge, but extremely rewarding. We are delighted to support two fantastic charities.

We have chosen to support Maggie's (the Edinburgh centre) and 'My Name'5 Doddie Foundation', allocating 70% of funding to Maggie's, and 30% to Doddie's Foundation. Information on both charities and why we chose them is below.

Maggie's is an independent charity that 'helps you take back control when cancer turns life upside down'. They rely on the generosity and commitment of people to fund their programmes. On a personal level, family members within our team are having their battles with cancer. The ongoing support and kindness of Maggie's has been overwhelming and so through our challenge, we would love to return the support they have shown us.

We have chosen also to support the 'My Name'5 Doddie Foundation', where the majority of funds raised are invested into Motor Neuron Disease (MND) research. With our old school, Glenalmond College, having such strong ties to the charity and each of us inspired by Doddie Weir, it seemed appropriate to support such a special cause.

We would really appreciate any support. Thank you in advance and we look forward to keeping you up to date with our challenge!
