Story
Whatever your political leanings we can all agree that the people living in the camp in Calais, known as "Le Jungle", are in a desperate situation. Having crossed continents, endured perilous journeys by land and sea and unthinkable suffering, they now face the prospect of a cold, bleak winter - in a tent if they're lucky. These are people - sons, fathers, daughters, brothers - with hopes and dreams - just looking for a safe place to live their lives. And they need our help now.

9 years agoHello All, With 9 days of our refugee campaign left, we have exceeded our target! We have already bought 10 thermal mats & a UNHCR tent, half price: http://www.canvascamp.com/en/basecamp.html With the rest we will send money for building winter shelters. Thanks again! B
