You will by now, have heard of the devastating news of Rachael Ward's death this week, aged just 28. Having celebrated a glorious Easter with her husband and three very young children, she went to sleep on Easter Monday and never woke up.

Rachael made juggling motherhood and medicine with three children look like an effortless joy, making space in amongst it all to devote herself to deep friendships, singing and enjoying every day to the full. Her whole life was an expression of courageous, joyful love!

So many of us feel so helpless at the news of her death. As well as the prayers, here is a small way we can help her family at this desperately sad time. Any contribution will be so appreciated by them.

The money will be used at her husband Matthew's discretion, be it funeral costs, provisions for the children, one of Rachael's charities or however else he sees fit to use it to help his family.

Rest in peace dearest Rachael. We know you are now forever celebrating Easter.
