I have seen, first hand, on a recent voluntary visit to Uganda; the vital, genuine difference 'Re- Raise a Child Foundation Org' makes to heart broken, vulnerable children that have suffered abandonment, extreme trauma, intense poverty, life threatening illnesses and secluded loneliness in the heart of Mubende District, on very low funding.

The founder and known local hero Joseph Okanya, listens to children‘s deeply touching stories and offers a hand to a love driven children's home, (currently homing 25 kids and supports local families where can, on the weekends for food support and activities).The fact their souls are healed by dance, music learning, sports lessons, (including self defense) and fun completely touched my heart. This enables them to find their talents and deters them dwelling on the past. Joseph experienced a very sad childhood himself and got lucky in being rescued. So, he gives every penny and moment he has to aid their rescue to a childhood and future path- something we all deserve. He will not rest until he sees they are OK everyday.

This org, that i can only describe as one family, is the brightest glimmer of hope for children of this region as it literally saves lives. What Joseph Okanya & Abraham Opodo, (Programme leader and father figure) do, alongside the local volunteers, is just amazing. It needs great recognition and urgent sponsorship as the funding is too low and they are in dire need of expansion. They have only ever had 3 uk volunteers visit, including myself.

URGENT FUNDING REQUIRED TO SAVE AND HEAL MORE CHILDREN'S LIVES:

Please help give anything you can to see this happen; the building donations for the new home and on site school project would lift the entire community of children in need in East Africa, Uganda, Mubende town. You would be supporting a sincere, open and honest org, witnessed, and know your donation would make the biggest difference to the lives of these children. It is not a large org with backing; therefore you will immediately become a part of the vision and can see it grow, which you just can't put value on.

Reach in your pockets for the spare bit of rubble you would put to something unworthy, and make it worthy. Literally, anything you can would be so welcomed, like you wouldn't believe.
