UPDATE: Please see attached image for latest update. Whilst the legal ramifications are being clarified, and costs are still to be covered, our fundraising campaign continues as Queen Emma Primary School has paid out for legal advice so far. We will update the fundraising figure once details are resolved. Thank you.
For the families and staff in our community, Ofsted's recent 'inadequate' judgement does not represent the happy, safe environment that we know and love at Queen Emma. We are also aware of the alleged flaws in Ofsted's visit to the school.
The ruling threatens the founding principles of the school, as by law it will force Queen Emma to leave the Queens' Federation and become an academy under new management. The school or parents will have no say over which academy takes control of the school.
We are fully backing Queen Emma Primary School as they challenge Ofsted through judicial review.
We seek your support in this.

Your donation will help Queen Emma Primary School meet their legal costs. We believe they can help us stay in our Queens' Federation family, and lead to wider reforms in Osfted.
Please feel free to share this with friends, family and other contacts who you feel might be able to help.
Thank you. We are stronger together!

Thank you for your support, Queen Emma Primary School is a registered charity: Charity number: 1169366.
Our ambitious target for this fundraising effort is based on a worst case scenario for the legal costs associated with a judicial review. Any money received through through this campaign will be used to offset any legal costs incurred. If we raise more than required or should circumstances change, then trustees reserve the right to reinvest any funds back into the school community, in line with our constitution as a charity.

Ofsted's current structure and approach is very clearly not fit for purpose. The Emma/Edith federation has produced two caring, outstanding schools & mustn't be pulled apart on this basis.

It’s such a shame to see what is happening and the undue pressure schools are under! Good luck!
