I've raised £500 to raise money for CentrePoint and our very own PTA

We are setting the school community a very ambitious challenge! We want each student to record the distance they walk, cycle and run over the Easter break and contribute to their tutor group’s cumulative total. Our aim for the school community is to travel 40,075km (24,860 miles) i.e. the distance around the world!
We have chosen to raise money for Centrepoint, a charity tackling homelessness in young people (https://centrepoint.org.uk/), and our very own PTA (Parent Teacher Association) who raise money to support extra-curricular opportunities for all students in our school.
Students have all been given their own sponsorship form on which they can record donations for each kilometre they walk or single, one-off donations from family and friends. Each sponsor will then make their donation to the Just Giving page for this fundraising event.
Upon their return to school on Monday the 19th of April, we will add up the total distance travelled to reveal a winning house and tutor group overall.
To record distances, free apps (e.g. Nike running app) or use exercise machines (e.g. ergo) can be used. All distanced travelled must follow the current Covid-19 restrictions around exercise and social mixing.
Our goal is to raise £500 which is just over £1 for every 100km we cover. We really hope you’re able to support this event and help raise money for these two very worthy causes. Please share the Just Giving link with your families and friends so that we can raise as much money as possible.
