I'm raising £25000 to buy equipment required for blood transfusion and training of medical personnel in remote areas of Ukraine

It is believed that blood transfusion for casualties who are in hemorrhagic shock should be accomplished as early as possible. The use of whole blood per se is associated with improved survival. However, in some remote rural locations or during prolonged evacuation blood it is not currently available to medics.
The goal of the project is to raise money for blood storage equipment (blood refrigerators) and blood warmers + consumable units (needed to instantly heat cold stored blood to optimal temperatures for infusions) and as well for training sessions for medical personnel on how to use the equipment. The project will support medical personnel of one rural casualty collection point (stabilization point) where blood is not in use and equip their facility with equipment needed to carry out 100-150 blood transfusions. The Project will be carried out in line with Ministry of Health guidance.
