I've raised £1500 to supply food packages for children who would usually rely on free school meals.

Peterborough United Foundation are attempting to raise £1500 in the effort to tackle local holiday hunger. It is estimated that up to 3 million children across the UK, are at risk of going hungry in the school holidays. This number is set to increase as the Covid impact has increased financial implications to many families through job losses and furlough.
In the October half-term, we collated, purchased and distributed 150 food parcels to children across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire. This December, we would like to help approximately 400 children with donated food packages.
To address the increased target of food packages, we are working with the Free Kicks Foundation charity. Free Kicks help disadvantaged children with football experiences, typically mascot packages, but due to Covid, are switching their attentions to support the Peterborough United Foundation tackling holiday hunger. Free Kicks Foundation will generously match the value raised up to £1,500.
We would value donations of any denomination. We estimate the value of each food parcel to be distributed to be around £5. A £10 donation will help address holiday hunger for two greater Peterborough based children.
Thank you for your support.
