Story

Everyone at Pentland United Football Club was saddened to hear the news of fellow player Keith Mason's young daughter Sophie being diagnosed with Battens disease, a rare genetic condition that affects between 1-3 kids in the UK each year and sadly doesn't have a cure.

Keith plays for our rivals Avoch FC and is well known throughout North football.

We have decided to do a fundraising challenge to help Keith and his family make as many precious memories as they can.

Players and staff at PUFC will undertake a 24 hour running challenge to raise money for the family. We will start at 6 p.m on Saturday 22nd February and someone will run each hour for 24 hours.

Your support would be greatly appreciated
