I've raised £1500 to Support Street Paws!

At Vets4Pets Pudsey we enjoy challenging ourselves both mentally and physically. Practice owner Saskia and the team are completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Street Paws on the 18th May 2019.
Street Paws is a registered charity that promotes animal welfare and relieves the suffering of animals by providing free of charge veterinary care to animals owned by people who are homeless, vulnerably housed or other vulnerable groups severely affected by poverty.
Homelessness is sadly on the rise in the UK. The bond between a homeless person and their animal is very strong. Their animal is their whole world, gives them a reason to carry on, and is often the only source of unconditional love. The health benefits are immense both mentally and physically and our aim is to support this bond to provide access to veterinary care for the homeless and vulnerable.
Saskia volunteers with Street Paws and every month she is out on the streets with Street Paws providing care to animals in need. The team hope to raise £1500 to help fund vital veterinary care to animals across the UK.
The Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-Y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles (38.6km) and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent.
