Our dog Puddles was tragically hit by a car Tuesday afternoon in our village

Due to my partner being under 2 weeks till due date we drove to the Herstmonceux park with the intention to throw the ball & walk around the field at a slow pace.

When we arrived there was what appeared to be bullying and a fight between a group of young kids.

We intervened and offered to walk the young lad Aiden home, as we did I stayed on the field with our dog as my girlfriend started to walk towards the village centre.

Puddles sustained a tear of her abdomen on impact from a previous surgery she had from swallowing a stone which in the moment wasn’t a thought in our minds.

This unfortunately was the horrific site that many of you may have seen and I am so sorry if any of you were traumatised by this 😢

Both my partner and I were bitten severely by puddles due to the dog being in overwhelming pain/shock and were both later treated in A&E.

Brittany & baby were also checked over and are ok.

Puddles is currently in a stable but positive condition.

However due to the extensive care which is still ongoing, Puddles is likely to be in the vets for sometime and our insurance only covers a small amount of what we are expecting the bill to be.

We are very proud people and we would never normally ask for help but would be hugely greatful for any donation towards our pup, she is full of life and loves everybody she meets, we want to bring her home as soon as we can safely. (Please ignore the target amount, we have to set a goal on the page for fundraising any donation is hugely appreciated)

We also want to say a huge thank you to all by standers and helpers, we don’t know what we would have done without you as we quite literally froze.
