The University of Liverpool is a leading cencentre for colic reaearch and they are going to put the funds towards a suitable colic project. Our amazing and effortlessly beautiful PRE Andalusian Princess Riva was taken away from us far, far too soon due to a horrific and sudden Colic. She fought her very best to stay for us, but it just wasn’t meant to be.

In light of this unfortunate and heart crippling outcome, us four best friends who share the horses together are planning on walking up Ben Ledi on the 29th of May just a few days after her 15th birthday to scatter some of her ashes.

However, most importantly the reason for this is to raise funds to help research into the horrendous, varied and complicated condition that is Colic.

If we could even contribute ever so slightly to another beautiful baby not being robbed away from their family too early, then this will hopefully make even some sense to us.

This may not seem like much, but this is a 4 hour up, and 4 hour down journey. 2 of us are asthmatic and the other 2 are fat and unfit - ha ha!
