Alice was born profoundly deaf and recently was registered blind now diagnosed with Ushers Type 1 (Profound Deafness and Retinitis Pigmentosa [Severe Sight-Loss]). Part of this condition means that Alice is incredibly clumsy she doesn't see things that we do she has no peripheral vision which means she's got tunneI vision I am hoping to raise enough to be able to transform her bedroom to a safe environment a more useable space this will mean having to have a bed etc built by hand as the roomies incredibly small which should eliminate some of the problems she may have with it going forward also that there will be space for her multi assist guide dog which I am hoping to have news on soon )if If the goal is exceeded any money left over will be used to remove hazards from the front garden/entrance to the house all of the above is essential for Alice

As most of you know despite Alice's setbacks she has been fundraising for Hearing dogs for the Deaf and collected over 300 items for the salvation army over Christmas. She is an incredibly special young lady that won't ask for help she has struggled for two years plus without us understanding why

As her mother I don't like to ask for help never have, I simply can't afford all the costs to have this built it for her own safety at the end of the day
