I'm raising £5000 to support Helping Our Ukrainian Friends

For 10 years, Princebuild has been entering a large team into the City of Lincoln 10k Run, and this year we’re doing it all again, with a dedicated group of runners committed to raising funds and awareness for the continuing conflict in Ukraine.
We will be raising funds for essential items for Ukraine. The funds will be used to buy essential supplies, and in addition to taking part in the run, director Mark Asplin will be travelling to Ukraine in March alongside members of the Helping Our Ukrainian Friends (HOUF) team to deliver much-needed aid and support to communities affected by the ongoing conflict. The trip will involve purchasing two 4x4 vehicles and personally driving them into Ukraine to assist those in need. Then in June, directors Matthew Pudney and Dale Asplin will personally deliver items such as food, clothes, tents, gas stoves, rechargeable lights, helmets, and protective jackets into Poland.
A portion of the donated funds will also support a summer camp in Poland near Warsaw, offering respite to Ukrainian widows and orphaned children affected by the war. As part of our commitment, we will provide individual boxed presents to all summer camp attendees— a small but meaningful way to show them they are in our thoughts and that people in the UK care about their well-being.
Join us in supporting our Ukrainian friends. Every pound donated and every step taken by our runners makes a difference.
