Our local Abbey at Pluscarden, over the hill from Brokentore, is aiming to complete its medieval buildings by adding a South Range to include women's guest rooms, a guest refectory and a proper monastic library open to visitors and researchers.

Founded in 1230 from a monastery in Burgundy, the major fundraiser is a pilgrimage from there to Pluscarden over 13 weeks during the summer. Tomas and I are walking week 3 through Champagne in June (approx 100 miles) and we would be very grateful for any support you feel able to contribute.
