Iʼve raised £594 to support Ivybridge Royal British Legion and it's Poppy Appeal by cycling around 75 Legion Branches of Devon.

Story
Ivybridge branch of the Royal British Legion have raised an incredible £27000 this year thanks to the fantastic generosity of our local community. Chairman Dermot Roberts and brothers George and Vincent Vosper plan to take that total to £30,000 by raising funds through a 500 mile round Devon Cycle ride. The ride will take place between Fri 14 and Tue 19 June 2019. We will visit 75 branch towns and climb a daunting 25000 feet. If you can help us the money you give will go towards the fulfilling the Legions mission to Live On to remember the fallen and support the future of the living.

6 years agoThat's it. All done. Over 500 miles and 30,000 feet of climbing. Many thanks to you and all our other supporters. Total money raised is still to be counted but we are expecting to be close to our Target of £3000. Thanks to you all we will be help our military family and remember our fallen.

6 years agoDay 5 and the cycling is becoming second nature now although the hills are still hurting. Many thanks to the branches of Woodbury, Bere (for the beer) and Branscombe who came and supported us and the Poppy Appeal. Ralph even escorted us on his 1950 Fergie tractor. Last day tomorrow and the demons of Dartmoor await
