My name is Chel Barnes. I came to Krakow in March 2022 to help with the wave of refugees who were crossing into Poland from Ukraine. Having lived both Poland and Ukraine before the war, I knew this is where I could be most useful.

Since then, I have not left. What started as collecting refugees at the border and train station has evolved drastically. Now, not only do I provide assistance to those who are fleeing into Poland, but I am drive frequently into Ukraine to provide assistance to hospitals, children's homes, refugee and volunteer centres, animal shelters and individuals in need.

I work with a few organisations, but currently this is my personal fundraising page and i use the money raised here to help those in front of me, who need immediate assistance. If anyone would like their donation to go to a specific cause, please contact me directly.
