I've raised £3000 to Replace stolen Poets' Corner FC goalposts so our kids can continue playing football

On the weekend of Friday 22nd November, 16 aluminium goalposts belonging to Poets' Corner Football Club were stolen from a secure, padlocked area at Wish Park, Hove.
The posts form the goals of the following boys' and girls' teams, who will now have their ability to play matches severely threatened:
Under-11s, Under-11s Colts, Under-12s, Under-12s Colts, Under-13s girls Blues, Under-13s girls Whites, Under-14s, Under-15s, Under-16s, Under-16s Colts
In total this is over 150 players whose football has been jeopardised by the appalling actions of thieves who specifically targeted our store and drove off with over £3,000 worth of equipment, most of which has only started being used this season.
As a non-profit club that survives on thin margins, and with 17 teams, 220 players and a cherished role we play locally, we have no choice but to reach out to local Hove community for help and support in replacing this equipment so that matches can recommence.
Any contributions would be tremendously appreciated as we strive to overcome this setback and continue providing a positive environment for our young athletes. If we are lucky to raise the amount to replace, any additional funds will go towards new equipment (subs' benches are in particular need) so perhaps we may emerge out of this event with a positive outcome.
Meanwhile, any information relating to the perpetrators of this morally redundant act will be received in confidence and passed to the police.
THANK YOU ALL. 👊
