Story

Help us renovate the dilapidated play area in Threlkeld. We want to replace the equipment and get modern safer surfacing, for the benefit of all the children of Threlkeld and visitors. We'd like to raise £5000 from crowdfunding towards the project which is likely to cost about £80,000.

I’m Alison Crozier, chair of Threlkeld Toddlers and we are working get the funds together for this project. We have received some sizeable grants from Threlkeld Parish Council, Eden District Council and Threlkeld Events, which has got us nearly halfway to our £80,000 target. We will apply for other grants, but we expect local fundraising and donations will need to contribute about £10,000. So please help us!

The new Play Area will be called the Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Play Area in honour of the late Queen. Particularly fitting, as it is located on a field called Victoria Diamond Jubilee Croft.
