I've raised £1500 to support those impacted by flooding, primarily in Platt Bridge, but also in Abram and Ashton.

It’s been a long few days for everyone locally - not the start to the year we'd hoped for, but one we’ll never forget. We've all seen the strength of our community, and I want to thank the emergency services, council teams, and local residents, who have been fantastic.
My thoughts are with those going to sleep in temporary accommodation or struggling in cold, damp homes. This fundraiser is one way we can stand together, shoulder to shoulder, as a community.
All the money raised will be used to support those impacted by the floods, primarily in Platt Bridge, but also in Abram and Ashton.
If you have any questions about or need support, you can email me (josh.simons.mp@parliament.uk) or your local Abram councillors: Martyn Smethurst (M.Smethurst@wigan.gov.uk), Nazia Rehman (N.Rehman@wigan.gov.uk) and Eunice Smethurst (E.Smethurst@wigan.gov.uk).
