Story
The Pink Ladies Day was set up in 2014 aimed at creating a wonderful day of fun, food, friendship, pampering and relaxation. This special day is for women who have experienced breast cancer first hand who come along with a close friend to share the day with. We are now in our 7th year (would have been 8th had 2020 not happened!) and we expect to invite 100 women this year in November. The day costs in the region of £6000 to produce (we're already almost halfway there this year!) and we are raising funds to make it a day to remember!

3 years agoWell... the day is almost upon us and this Friday would not be happening on the scale that it is this year, if it were not for each and every one of you sponsoring the amazing Yvonne and Shona! I can still feel the magic of that wonderful evening with the girls and their army of supporters. Thank you! We raised well over £11,000 in total this year (almost half of it down to these two!) which also gives us a fantastic head start for next year. I will close the JustGiving page now. I was diagnosed with stage 3, HER2+ breast cancer on the 30th December 2013. I couldn't think of a more fulfilling and rewarding thing to do than organised the Pink Ladies Day for others in my situation and it's been an amazing journey, with the help of some wonderful friends.
