I've raised £2000 to donate 10 pianos to local schools, churches and community groups.

Music inequality is widening. Despite countless studies that have shown the benefit that music education brings children, 1 in 5 primary schools in the UK report that they do not have music lessons as part of their curriculum and state schools have reported an average decrease of 21% in music provision over the past 5 years.
All the while, hundreds of thousands of perfectly functional pianos, instruments and music books sit idle in homes up and down the UK.
We believe this is unacceptable and unsustainable.
Hundreds of thousands of fully functioning pianos sit idle up and down the coutnry. We want to help put them to good use by donating them to local schools, community groups and churches.
We need your support to help get these pianos moved safely and professionally. The average cost of moving a piano professionally is around £200. We are hoping to raise £2000 in order to help move our first 10 pianos through the piano equals scheme.
