I am lucky enough to be travelling to Nepal in the summer of 2019 in a school programme called World Challenge.

This is an organisation that gives young people the opportunity to travel to developing countries for a four week period. It enables us to explore the cultures and customs and gain global citizenship skills by supporting local community-based projects. Past projects have included rebuilding schools demolished in the 2015 earthquake, building facilities for villages and taking part in conservation projects to protect endangered wildlife and habitats.

I have to raise over £4000 to fund my expedition. I plan to do this by obtaining a part time job and by organising fundraising activities such as; a curry night, babysitting, easy fundraising, the collection of christmas trees and with any donations received on this page. The latter, no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated.

I will keep you updated with my fundraising activities over the next year and a half and send you a report on my trip and the community projects we undertake on my return in September 2019 so that you can see how your support has really made a difference and allowed me to have an amazing experience.
