Phil is 35 years old, Train driving instructor at Hornsey driver depot and is a valuable part of our depot. Throughout his years as a DI, he has taught loads of trainees and helped them start their career As train drivers.

In 2022 Phil was suffering with some stomach issues, following on from this Phil was diagnosed with esophagus cancer in January 2023. This was an extreme shock to everyone who knows Phil.

Phil undertook 4 months of chemotherapy and finished his Chemotherapy in May 2023. He then had his operation booked in for June 2023 

Unfortunately, when Phil had his operation, they discovered His cancer had aggressively spread.

Phil's options are limited, and he is now in Palliative care with Stage 4 Cancer. He is staying positive and strong through this difficult time and will fight this to the end.

Phil is married to Sam with two young children, Hattie (4) & Eddie(1) this page is to help Phil and his Family in this difficult time and to show that we are all here thinking and supporting him and his Family.
