Our website Homelessness is a serious issue in the UK, with thousands of people sleeping rough every night. Homeless Direct is a unique charity formed to directly tackle homelessness across the UK, city by city and borough by borough, starting in West London. We will do this by employing 90% homeless people, empowering them to be the change that makes a difference in their lives and others. As founder I have already designed a limited website using Wix. www.homeless-direct.org

We already have our first 10 homeless people ready to change their lives once we get initial donations. In order to register with the charity commission, get a charity registration number and officially be able to operate we need to show £5,000 of fund raising, so we are caught in a catch 22 in order to kick things off.

Once the charity is set up and the funds raised are proven, the monies will be used to directly help the homeless and fund further fund raising projects.

Overview of how funds will be used

1- To reach fund raising requirements for registering with Charity Commission.

2 - Pay for registration support through Simply Third Sector.

3 - Pay for accountancy and fund raising support through Simply Third Sector.

4 - Pay for Website/domain completion, hosting and email using domain.

5 - Pay for fund raising tools including payment machines, stands, leaflets and attire.

6 - Employ and train first 3 - 10 homeless people to join team. These people are already waiting and ready.

As you can see, I have designed a website and social media sites and done as much as possible myself without support.
