Training going well. 28.5 miles last Tuesday - Lichfield to Fradley and then Fradley to Gas Street Basin B’ham It was hot and needed water support from people on narrow boats. The tow path is a difficult terrain and near Birmingham City Centre there are loads of locks and cobbled areas which hurt my ankles and knees. This weekend will be giving my knees a rest when I will be doing a 50 mile bike ride on the only section of tow path I have never covered. Thanks everyone for the support now with £1500 of my target with 4 weeks to go.

I have been doing a couple of 18-19 mile runs over the last two Saturdays, managing 18.6miles in 3hrs 21mins and last Saturday I did 19 miles in 3hrs 30mins. Times were not bad as they were off-road, on fields and along the canal in the dark. Gym training is going well but need someone to challenge my X-trainer record which is now 8.85km level 14 in 30mins. Fund raising is going better than it looks on the page but anything anyone can do to help spread the word would be great. Thanks again to everyone who have put the time aside to support me
