Pet Pantry Cumbernauld provides emergency pet food to foodbanks and other organisations in Cumbernauld.

Who are we?

We are a group of animal-loving Cumbernauld women who saw a need and wanted to help. Through our work within the community, we know that foodbanks are often asked for pet food but don’t often get it donated. We know that many people who use foodbanks are skipping meals in order to feed their pets. Pets are part of the family, and for many people their cat or dog is their only or main company. Living in financial insecurity is hard enough without worrying whether you can afford to keep your pet. Our goal is to remove that stress from pet owners and help them to feed their pets.

In order to do that, we need your help. We are raising funds to buy cat and dog food. We also welcome donations of pet food directly and we are very happy to collect that from you. Please get in touch.

If you need help, we are currently providing Pet Food to the following food banks and organisations with a goal of increasing this over the next month.

🐾 Monday: Cumbernauld Resilience foodbank at Sacred Heart Hall in Kildrum, from 5:30 pm to 7:15 pm.

🐾 Wednesday: Salvation Army Food Bank in Kildrum, from 11 am to 12:30 pm.

🐾 Thursday: Food Bank in Cumbernauld Village Old Parish Church, from 10:30 am.

🐾 We also provide packs to Cumbernauld Poverty Action to give to their clients who need it.
