Story
Pete Bullard passed away on 31st October 2019. He worked for many years to improve the environment in St Paul's, be this to get trees planted along Grosvenor Road, to secure community allotment space, to help establish the St Paul's Learning Centre, as the Chair of the St Paul's Planning Group - doing all he could to work for good quality developments that met the needs of the community.... and so much more. Pete was one of the people who secured the restoration and development of St Paul's Park back in around 2006. To celebrate his life and his impact, we are raising money to buy 2 sweet chestnut trees and a greengage in his memory, as Pete said that all trees planted in St Pauls should bear fruit for local people to enjoy; along with a plaque to commemorate Pete and his life in the community. Thank you.

5 years agoThanks so much to everyone who has contributed - and still are contributing to Pete's trees. We're keeping this going, but we're looking at next year now of course. We will keep you informed when anything changes or as this develops. Pete's work for a greener St Paul's will happen in 2021!

5 years agoHi and thank you for your donations for Pete's Trees - trees in St Pauls. Your amazing generosity has given us a great start. Between the Just Giving page and the money donated at Pete's funeral and the Celebration at St Pauls Learning Centre on Monday, we have already reached our £750 target. We're not stopping here, though. We will continue to collect - the more we raise, the more we can contribute to greening and tree planting (with their maintenance) in St Pauls. And as we all know, that's a goal that was so close to Pete's heart. Lori
