Our Story
We are all aware of the terrible and worsening situation in the Ukraine. Five million people and rising have escaped across the border into neighboring countries. Our concern though is the people left behind. Just normal citizens who intend to defend their country against this onslaught by Putin and his army. They are poorly equipped but still their bravery and determination is unwavering.
I myself am a retired engineer living with my Ukrainian wife Elina in North East Derbyshire. We have two wonderful boys Andrii who is 32 and Viktor 27 living in Kropivnitsky in Central Ukraine. On the outset of the Putins invasion we got together an escape plan. Sharing the details to the boys and Elina's elderly parents they immediately said they would not leave but stay and fight for their country.
We are now trying to raise funds to buy emergency provisions for the Ukranian people. Men, women and children who are still in Ukraine but besieged by the Russian invaders.
We have vital connections in Poland k(Krakow) and Western Ukraine (Lyviv) who are able and willing to get these provisions to near the front line. Were it is so desperately needed to save lives.
