Norman Beddington helped many local people during his lifetime ranging from highlighting climate change and sustainability to a supporter and helper at the Hornsey Food Bank. He was ahead of his time in many ways.

Norman was also a keen member of the Hornsey Pétanque Club that plays in Hornsey’s Priory Park. The £1,500 we've raised will now be transferred to Haringey Parks Department to purchase an in-memoriam bench that in due course will be placed alongside the petanque courts in Priory Park where Norman played.

This site is now closing with a huge vote of thanks to all who contributed towards a fitting tribute for a great and generous man.
