A massive thank you to you all. We did it! We started at 15:20 on Friday and I finished about 18:35 on Saturday. It would have been a lot quicker, but our headlamps failed on peak 3 and we ended up scaling down the wrong side of the mountain (scrambling perilously over rocks rather than an established path) and then walking without a clue where we were going over swampy moors and I even fell in a river. I also managed to sprain my ankle and tore my hip flexors but who cares. Anybody got any ideas for our next mission?

We've finally hit the half way mark! Thanks for all of your support and donations so far. Adrian and I have decided to push the envelope and try to walk the three peaks twice in one go....ideally in under 24 hours on Friday the 6th of October. We will make the first walk starting in the evening whilst still relatively fresh so we can take on the treacherous terrain more safely. We are in the process of getting safety equipment, light helmets, flares etc but if anybody wants to walk with us or help at any stage, please let me know.
