Story
My name is Will Thompson, I am ten years old and I play for Penistone Church Under 11's Football Team. On July 15th I am going to try and ride 75 miles in one day from my House to the Humber Bridge .I am doing it to raise money for my team as we need money for new kit and equipment as we are now moving from 7 aside to 9 a side. It is the first time I have done anything like this, and the furthest I have rode before is 10 miles so I know it is going to be hard, but if you be able to give me some sponsorship money that will make it all worthwhile. Thanks a lot.

Yesterday Will completed the 75 mile bike ride from home to York. It was tough going but he showed amazing mental strength for a 10 year old and we are all really proud of him. Thanks to everyone who donated to help fund the lads new kit for next season. It's much appreciated.

8 years agoDue to heavy rain being forecast along our route today we have decided to postpone the bike ride. It would have been a tough ride anyway but the poor weather would have made it doubly so. We are looking to sort another date out before the end of the month so will confirm as soon as possible. If anyone feels that they would like a refund due to the postponement just let me know and I will sort. Thanks for all your support so far.
