Story
Penge East Community Centre was built for the people of Penge East in 1983. It was a recycled Scout Hut with an asbestos cement roof. Time has not been kind to the roof and it needs to be replaced.
We have managed to raise some of the money we need but are £6000 short of what we need.
The Community Centre is used by hundreds of people of all ages, races and religions each year
The new roof comes with a 50 year guarantee and will allow the Community Centre to flourish and serve the people of Penge East for a long time to come.

7 years agoThe builders have been in and the new roof is in place. We are still short of all the money we need to pay for it so every penny counts. Many thanks to everyone who has so generously made donations.
