Story
Hi members and friends of Pencoed RFC,
As you may already be aware, a devastating arson attack took place at Pencoed RFC on Monday 18th January. Thankfully no one was hurt. However, a portacabin containing rugby kit and all our essential rugby equipment was destroyed. This is going to have a devastating impact when rugby can resume. The items lost are:
Tackle bags, rucking shields, sub coats, playing kits, post protectors, flags, first aid kits, balls and cones, training bibs, playing park, scrummage machine attachments & a mascot costume
As you can imagine, for a local community club the effect of this has been devastating and this has been amplified in the current pandemic. We are lucky that we don't need to use these items immediately.
We are seeking help to raise money to replace these vital items, thus ensuring that when we resume we are able to continue to provide rugby for our community. We will be thankful for any donation.
