PAW HELP UK is fully established rescue having long term partnership with Ukrainian rescue charity. There is NO OTHER rescue in UK, who was helping dogs from Ukraine before the war started. And of course Paws didn’t stay aside after the war since March 2022 started the mission to help hundreds of helpless pets, who are abandoned because their families are either killed or fled.
The war destroyed the lives of both humans and animals. Hundreds of pets are being abandoned being not able to flee with their families. Hundreds of pets have their families died under shelling. Innocent four paws souls are dying from hunger and under the shelling.
PAWS is collecting the animal aid donated by beautiful British people and even companies and sending it all over Ukraine, including areas close to war zones, such as Donetsk region, Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv, Odessa, Kropivnytskyi, Kyiv/Chernihiv region (Irpen, Borodyanka), etc.
We are helping small rescues with 100-150 animals under care, individual rescue volunteers, who are rescuing and keep at their homes sometimes up to 80 animals, refugees, who fled from their destroyed homes to more safe areas with their pets including rescue pets. We are helping those, who are not attached to any other donors and desperately need help and support to survive.
We continue to collect the aid for animals in UKRAINE: dog & cats dry and wet food, begs, blankets, towels, toys, treatment against worms and fleas, cages, carriers, puppy pads, collars, leads, harnesses: EVERYTHING WHAT CAN HELP ANIMALS.
