I've raised £500 to help a local organisation dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children

I’m running my first (probably last…) marathon in May at the Rob Burrow Marathon in Leeds. I’m both extremely excited and completely terrified, as this is a long way out of my comfort zone!
I’m raising money for a local (Derby) organisation called Bridge The Gap, which is dedicated to providing mental health and wellbeing support to children.
Bridge The Gap has helped us through a difficult period over the last year or two. They’re an amazing bunch of people providing a safe space to talk, without judgement, and making you feel like you are not alone. The staff are dedicated, friendly and professional, and genuinely care about making a difference. The company struck such a chord with Sarah that she started volunteering for them in the office and at events, and is now part of the team, taking on some of the administration so the practitioners can better focus on the service they provide.
Thanks for your support - hopefully it helps get me round the 26 miles in one piece!
