Story
Paul has been through a rough few years of health issues including a heart attack, diabetes and Parkinson's but now it's time to pay back those that helped him with the support of his best friend, Donny but unfortunately since Covid Donny is unable to ride with him so Paul will be doing the ride unaided and solo.
Paul wants to raise money for Atkinson Morley wing at St Georges hospital where Paul was lucky enough to qualify for D.B.S (Deep Brain stimulation) surgery which has given him a better quality of life.
They plan to bike ride leaving from John O'Groats in Scotland on Monday 1st August 2022, hoping to reach Lands End between 27th August depending on weather conditions. The distance is approximately 1,000 miles and are hoping to ride an average of 35-55 miles per day.
Paul is the founder and director of "Affordable Shutters Ltd".The company will be funding the bikes and equipment for this challenge.
