Story

Local folk will recall the ongoing fight against the development next to the "little park" on Victoria Road, a hard fight but lost to the planning authority. Project abandoned by the last developer. Now a new developer has taken it over and is demonstrating that he owns part of Waterside Fold, and intends to allocate parking to the new project as per his entitlement. Further explains that he needs to have a Builders Compound to facilitate his build across the water. He says he needs only 60sq. mtrs of compound plus vehicle passage and we agree he has right of way. Residents in the fold are a majority of elderly and retired folk, and they simply need to have some proper legal advice as to where they stand. This fund is to enable this advice, as the cost is beyond the means of individuals. This is not a challenge merely an attempt to find out what are their rights. If you are able to help us, thank you !
