It’s me Paddy Paul, Roundy, the big fat Irish man! I’m relieved to say I’m still here, but I nearly wasn’t...
Over Christmas I caught Covid 19. I cannot begin to describe the utterly devastating affect this disease has caused me. I was taken to Medway ITU where they decided my lungs needed a rest and induced me into a comma for 5 long weeks. Luckily, god only knows how, I survived it! But it has left me unable to move my arms or legs and with 3 infections. I am due to move to a rehab hospital to teach me to walk again, which they think will take around 6 months.
I wouldn’t ask for your help if I didn’t have to.
I was due to start a new job in January but for obvious reasons I couldn’t. So I’ve fallen through the safety net for financial help.

Some good news today, I move into the rehab home which is the step down on the road to my home. I’m so glad I am getting through this, but I could not do this without your support. 4 years agoToday with the help of the nurses I took my first step. I’ve still a long way to go but this is not going to beat me! One arm has almost full movement but the other is still very limited. I am infection free! I can use the phone now, so send messages or FaceTime when you get a moment spare! Thank you again to everyone who has donated and everyone who has helped me ❤️

4 years agoUp date... Pauls health is improving he can now move his arms but still not his legs. He will be moving soon to a rehabilitation unit where they can help him learn to walk again. He cannot thank you enough for your generous donations. He will thank you all personally as soon as he’s able to 💕
