    Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

For the month of February I will walk a total of 350 miles averaging around 12.5 miles a day in 28 days to raise money for the Good Child Foundation (Thai Tims) a charity that supports young children with down syndrome in Thailand.

The Good Child Foundation is a school based in the Chanthaburi province of Thailand and offers placements for children with down syndrome who have previously been excluded from a school environment and an education, the benefits are immeasurable.

The school supports children through peer support and social inclusion, eliminating the barriers and stigma attached to disabilities.

As many of you may know my brother Thomas Hagan passed away just over a year ago and would often bring up the subject of raising funds for the Thai Tims again after he hosted a charity event in his Celtic bar many years ago.

So this year in his memory I am pledging to raise as much as I can to support this great charity helping under privileged kids gain an education.

Each day I will walk a minimum 12.5 miles to hit my target of 350 miles to be completed by the 28th of February while adhering to any lockdown restrictions that may be in place and will document my journey throughout with daily/regular updates on my progress.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and please if you can donate for such a good cause.

Want to thank everyone for the support during the month of February. I managed to walk over 400 miles in 28 days in memory of my brother Thomas Hagan to raise almost £4000 for the Good Child Foundation @thaitims. To everyone who donated in one way or another, messaged me words of support, Thank you I appreciate. I will withdraw the funds tonight to my bank account then get it sent to the Good Child Foundation.
