I've raised £5000 to help fund the erection of the new Bedworth Armistice Parade Peace Podium

Every year the Bedworth Armistice Parade marches down the Rye Piece Ring-way. It is here that the parade passes an old rickety saluting dias where usually the Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire would salute the parade as they march past.
The people who take part in the Bedworth Armistice Parade deserve better. The committee have applied for planning permission to erect a permanent structure and they need your help. The COVID-19 Pandemic severely limited the parade last year and has stopped the committee from being able to fund raise the way we did in the past.
Incorporated in the plans for the new Peace Podium are the old park gates which were donated to the Miners Welfare Park by Coombe Abbey . We are hoping to inscribe the names of the fallen onto the new Marble structure to be recognised and remembered not only on Armistice Day but every day of the year. Our aim with the help of various companies and the generosity of the public is to have our new monument ready for World Peace Day on September 11th now that the plans have just been submitted. Because of Covid restrictions the task of funding this monumental task seems very daunting as we move towards our Centenary year on November 11th. Please, please can you help us, every little helps, so please dig deep and help to Remember them all.
Kind Regards
