Story

Ey up, January 19th 2021 marked a year since my daughter Olivia lost her mum, Lindsey. She was an amazing mum, but for many years Lindsey had been fighting her own battle with mental health, tragically Lindsey died just over 1 year ago.
During these last 15 months myself and Liv have witnessed first hand the best in some people.
During this difficult time 2 charities stepped forward and offered help for Liv which was invaluable and not sure where we'd be without their support.
Firstly a charity connected to my work, TASC-The Ambulance Service Charity went above and beyond in helping Liv and myself with various bits of support.
Secondly, the Children's Bereavement Centre, which is a local charity giving professional counselling and support to Liv.
Both have helped out and offered their help for free, but i feel i want to give something back to both of them for the next person that needs their help.
So i've come up with this, i'm going to cycle the coast to coast route in August this year, a total of 137 miles from Whitehaven on the West coast to North Shields on the East coast of England going through the Lake District, the Pennines and County Durham, spread over a few days and camp and carry all my kit. My aim is to try and get a small collection that i will split 50/50 between both charities.
Mental health is something i feel stronger than ever about now after this past 15 months, so I'll be chucking some cash in myself and I appreciate folk are skint and i'm sorry to even ask, but if you are able to just please spare the value of a coffee or something it would be appreciated so much and know in doing so you'll be helping the next person in their time of need.

Thank you, Paul and Liv.
