I've raised £7000 to support the running and growth of our local Pathfinder and Adventurer Clubs in Luton

The Luton Central Pathfinder and Adventurer Clubs are a well established organisations with over 30 years’ experience working with children and young people in the local community. Our Pathfinders are aged between 10 and 16 years, and our Adventurers are typically aged 5 – 9 years. In our current 2023 cohort, we have 32 Pathfinders and 18 Adventurers.
Our mission is to nurture young people to be model citizens in their communities. The club offers a full curriculum which is delivered by trained volunteers for children in each age group. Young people are given instructions to help them develop mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually. Our programme comprises of a range of honours and activities for all children to participate in.
We run a calendar of events annually, which includes camping, community outreach days, fairs, curriculum days and training sessions. As part of the worldwide organisation, we participate in activities with local, national and global groups.
We are seeking funds to support the running and growth of the clubs. This funding will also go towards:
- replacing much needed camping equipment, which we estimated to be about £7000
- off-setting the cost of camp fees for children from single parent households and low-income families
