Day 31- Yippee!!!!! Walk completed. I walked 10.7 miles today & 26072 steps giving a grand total of precisely 250 miles & 609,703 steps. On my virtual walk I walked firstly to Sholing, Southampton to see my grandchildren James & Jack, & then walked from Southampton to London finishing this afternoon in Westminster Abbey, giving thanks for helping me safely thro' this exciting adventure & I give thanks for the massive support & donations to improve the lives of several hundred Christian families in Kenya; to date we have raised £1,570.00.

Day 30 of 31 - My main walk today from home to the old Pastures hospital housing estate, to Burnaston, to Etwall, to the main A516 over fields back to the Great Northern Railway walking track back to Mickleover. This is the most I have walked in a day this month, 28938 steps/12.0 miles with a total mileage of 239.3 miles taking me on my virtual walk from Mickleover to Southampton and then to London. Taking the shortest walking distance I am now 2.3 miles beyond Kingston upon Thames. Photo is of the old Etwall hospital, now a Nursing Home.

29th day of 31 - The main walk today was hosted by Catherine Barker, a lovely walk starting in Duffield, going via Chevin golf course & up over Chevin Hill, down through charming villages & into Ecclesbourne valley, over the steam railway & via Ecclesbourne River, a beautiful walk in lovely warm sunshine. Total steps & miles today are 24363/9.1 miles. Total miles 227.3. On my virtual walk I have now walked to Southampton & on just past Guildford heading towards London.
