On Tuesday, 25 June, we are hosting an Ice Bath Challenge at our Yeovil office to raise funds for two of our brave colleagues who have recently battled cancer.

One of our colleagues is Naomi from our Family Team, who has been on a courageous journey after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer in late 2023. Her strength and resilience have inspired us all, and this event is a way for us to show our support and make a difference in her life. Naomi has graciously shared her story in a blog where she explains her gut-wrenching experiences and how she has recently gone into remission.

Our other colleague, who prefers to remain unnamed, has also shown incredible bravery and determination in their fight against cancer. We want to honour their privacy while acknowledging their strength and courage.

Five members of our Executive Committee will be taking the plunge!

Our CEO & Head of Dispute Resolution, Bhavani Hogarty, COO & Financial Director, Mike Miller, Head of Commercial Property, Michael Sewell, Head of Family, Siobhan Thompson and Head of People, Welfare & Culture, Victoria Harrison will immerse themselves in icy cold water for a minimum of two minutes, or longer if they can bear it!

We've also opened out the challenge to any other members of the Pardoes team who wish to brave the cold.

Why We Need Your Support

Both our colleagues have faced incredibly tough times, and we want to give something back. The Ice Bath Challenge has been organised as a charitable event to raise funds for them both personally. Any money raised will be split between them, providing much-needed support and relief.
