Every year for the past 9 years, I have been involved in the chairty Operation Christmas Child which helps send shoeboxes full of everyday essentials to orphaned/ less advantaged children all across the world. This includes things like soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, school supplies such as pens, pencils and notebooks, as well as toys and sweets. Last year I was able to fill and send 20 shoeboxes (along with hundreds donated from Turton School with the help from Liz Bailey and a few amazing students). This year I want to double that so that more amazing children can have at least one merry christmas. If you would like to donate, please do so as your help would be very much appreciated.
